On this page you can see a picture of a few of the rosaries I've done,
and read descriptions to help inspire your own design.

Blossom Rosary
blossomrosary.jpg

Inspired by the cherry blossoms and dogwoods of spring, this rosary features rose quartz beads and sterling silver components.  The centerpiece depicts Mary wreathed in flowers. The crucifix shows our Lord hung from a dogwood tree, whose flowers are a symbol of Christ's Death and Resurrection. $67.60

Queen of Heaven

This rosary incorporates symbols of Mary's Queenship with her Son in Heaven:  blue goldstone, like miniature heavens filled with stars; Pater beads crowned with filigree caps; and sterling silver components. $75.00

Saint Patrick Rosary

This rosary turned out beautiful--a great alternative to black and brown for men. The beads are 6mm tree agate, a fabulous, earthy mixture of green and white, and the parts are a Saint Patrick centerpiece and a Celtic crucifix (base metal).  $25.00

Thanksgiving Rosary
thanksgivingrosary.jpg

Our country's holiday of Thanksgiving is rooted in both harvest festivities and gratitude for all the blessings of God in our lives. This rosary celebrates the spirit of thanksgiving in two senses. The gemstone beads in this rosary, resembling Indian corn, reflect by their colors the season of autumn and harvest time. Included are yellow jade, red tiger-eye, peach aventurine, red marble, ruby zoizite, and red jasper. The bronze crucifix, center, and grape- clusters beginning each mystery, with gold-filled parts, depict the weekly thanksgiving feast of the Catholic Church--our own Eucharist, which is named from the Greek for "thanksgiving." How fitting that we should remember the Blessed Sacrament instituted at the Last Supper, especially on Thanksgiving Thursday.  $73.00

St. Joseph Rosary

This picture does not do justice to the hematite rosary here. Hematite has a silvery sheen and a substantial, comforting weight. The beads absorb your warmth as you pray or carry it in your pocket. The links are sterling silver, the crucifix and four-way center are pewter, and the attached medal is St. Joseph.  $27.50

America Rosary

I designed this rosary on the eve of the 2000 presidential election. I usually use quartz, fossilstone and base metal parts, which include a Papal cross and a centerpiece depicting the visionaries and Our Lady at Fatima. This rosary has sold for as much as $45. $20.00

Design Pointers!

Here are some tips to help you choose the look you want for your rosary.

+ Many people want the quality of sterling silver or gold-filled work throughout their rosary.  The effect of using these higher-priced materials can vary widely.  Even if you request a specific piece, don't be shy about asking for a less expensive option or telling me what look you're after, in case I can offer you something more economical.

+ The pieces to which I refer as base metal, oxidized, or nickel silver are less expensive than the precious metal pieces, and there's often greater choice among them.  Some of my favorite designs use these pieces, because I can have a beautiful cast crucifix or centerpiece with significant meaning for the intention of my rosary's design, and I can reproduce it much more frequently than if I had used sterling silver or gold-filled pieces because of the cost.

+ Sterling silver pins and chain between beads may add up to $16.00 to the price of your rosary.  It's higher quality and shows less wear than base metal work.  It's a good way to beautify your rosary without breaking your budget.  Gold-filled work may add up to $23.00 to the final price.
